Left/Right: it's all about the division of the wealth of nations...or the percentage game

Wealth is produced by workers who give up control/ownership of it in exchange for the wages they get for their labour power on the market. Most of the wealth in the USA (88%) is owned by the top 10%. The division of wealth is a political task. For the right, it means leaving the top 10% holding on to most of their wealth and for left is means giving some of the 10%'s wealth back to its producers, the working class: employed or unemployed, working age or retired, healthy or sick. The "Wash Po" and "NYT" owners and lickspittles want to cut the wealth going to the 90% because most of them are in the top 10%. Conflict of interest or objective reporting, you decide. I think Dean does a great job of exposing this sort of manufactured consent; but most of the 90% don't even know that Dean exists, much less what his arguments are. - Mike Ballard
